zuerst ein großes Danke für diese Arbeit:)
dann eine große Schelte, dass dies solange verheimlicht war (naja zumindest für mich ) und eine Frage:
In Deinem Gästebuch brechen die Einträge in einzelne Seiten um. Wie hast Du dies realisiert?

Hallo Monika,
kurz nachdem ich mein Plugin fertig hatte bin ich über das Plugin Paged Comments von Keyvan Minoukadeh gestolpert. Nach etwas Finetuning habe ich es dann eingesetzt.
Ein kleiner Nachteil dieses Plugins ist, dass es in der aktuellen Version (V2 2005-11-26) noch nicht perfekt mit WordPress 2.0 kompatibel ist. Das URL Rewriting per .htaccess funktioniert zumindest bei mir noch nicht.

Guten Morgen Tim,
ich verwende dieses Plugin für meine normalen Kommentare.
Nachdem ich es eingedeutscht hatte und zur Verfügung stelle als deutsche Lokalisation.
Kannst Du/magst Du mir erklären ob und wenn wie ich es de facto ein zweites Mal verwenden kann?
Die wp-paged-comments.php liegt bei mir im Root.

I’m testing the plugin on my localhost. It changes the comments order but comments numbers are not effected. So, I have latest comment at the very top but it’s marked as #1. What should I do.

Hi Ivan,
you are right, the plugin does not affect the comment numbers at all.
On my site I use a different plugin which has support for that (paged comments plugin).
If you have a little knowledge of PHP you can add the code to your template.
Before the foreach comment loop:
$approved_condition = "(comment_approved = '1' OR (comment_author = '$author_db' AND comment_author_email = '$email_db' AND comment_approved = '0'))";
$comment_count = (int)$wpdb->get_var("SELECT COUNT(*) FROM $wpdb->comments WHERE comment_post_ID = '$post->ID' AND $approved_condition");
$comment_number += count($comments);
$comment_delta = -1;
It reads the number of comments for this post sets up a delta variable.
Inside the loop to display the comment number:
For every comment displayed the number is reduced by the amount of the delta variable.
Beware! This code is not tested at all and may not work by copy & paste into your template.
The code snips are taken from the paged comments plugin.

Werden die Kommentare dann eigentlich so wie hier angezeigt (Neueste Kommentare), oder ist das ein anderes Plugin?

Hi Karl,
wenn du den Kasten in der rechten Navigation meinst, dann ist das nicht das Reverse Order Comments Plugin.
Diese Kommentare hier unten sind die ganz normalen WordPress Kommentare. Der Kasten in der Navigation wird durch das Plugin “Sidebar Widgets” erzeugt. Es gibt dafür aber auch weitere Plugins, die die neuesten Kommentare auflisten.

Hallo,
Klasse plugin, die Reihenfolge ist auch geändert, aber der erste Eintrag´erhaät immer die Nr. 1. Das ist blöde, denn der erste sollte auch die 1 bekommen, der 38. die 38, etc… sonst verwirrt das nur, finde ich. Außerdem weiß man dann gleich, wieviele da drin sind.
Was muß man dafür tun, damit das geht?

Die Lösung für dein Problem ist in Kommentar #12 erklärt.
Du musst die Nummerierung von Hand lösen. D.h. die automatische Nummerierung mit <ol> Tags funktioniert nicht mehr.
