The plugin works very well in general. There is one link on my site where the page shown does not cover the entire 200×150 area. Just guessing, it covers perhaps 1/9th of the pop-up area. The remainder of the field is black.
Another link, to a New York Times columnist, shows your logo instead of the target site.
These are not major problems but are anomalies that are worrisome.

Hi Crawford,
these problems are server related. The logo on the New York Times link is not an error, there is just no thumbnail generated (yet).
About the broken/incomplete thumbnail: Unfortunately I can’t do anything to solve this. As my plugin is not creating the thumbnails, I need to rely on the images delivered by the snapr.seekxl.de service.
If you find major error or problems with this service, you can contact the operators of the snapr.seekxl.de service directly. On the bottom of the page you will find an email link.

Thanks for the response. As I stated, these are not real problems. You say that no thumbnail has been generated yet for the New York Times. Could you explain to one not really versed in the subject how these are generated. It just seems that links to my other sites are there and therefore it is surprising that the NYT is not.

I don’t know how the thumbnails are generated. On the website they say, that they use “Snapr Clients” on Linux or Windows machines to generate the images. Maybe some special programs? I think it is possible to remote control some browsers. Maybe that’s the way they do it.
If my idea is right, a thumbnail could not be generated, if those machines cannot connect to the website or there are any other rendering errors.
